AffordAble Abodes was set up to develop affordable, low-cost housing that would make it possible for Bottom-of-Pyramid (BoP) populations to have their own homes. Operating in Malaysia and Singapore, it has its sights set on improving the lives of the poor in the ASEAN region and beyond, through developing sustainable housing solutions. AffordAble Abodes is committed to reducing its impact on the environment through the use of innovative renewable kenaf plant-based bio-composite materials and simpler prefab construction methods, bringing the cost of a new home down, whilst increasing its quality & safety.
